I'm not into computer-driven telescopes at all, but my distinct impression from
reading this group, is that the ASCOM issue eventually will be the decisive
factor for or against the continued use of Guide. And I fell pretty confident
that a number of would-be users are very probably put off by the non-ASCOM
compliance of Guide.
So, Bill, what if you just said "to hell with all those obscure bugs" for a
while, and lock yourself up somewhere, not to come out until you have written an
ASCOM-driver for Guide? :)
