I'd wager this will go away with the first Guide CD in the drive.
To get 'go to... NGC/IC' to work without the first CD in the drive,
you'd want to use Extras... Install to Hard Drive, and turn on
"Deep-sky objects (60 MBytes)."

Without that turned on, most DSOs will appear, but most 'go to's
won't work, and much of the 'more info' won't work.
