Re: [guide-user] Lunar phase in legend

Hi Alan,
An undocumented feature: go into Display... Legend, and click on
"Add to Caption". Enter the text 'MoonA'.
The legend will now contain a line saying "MoonA=19.45", indicating
the moon is 19.45 days old. If you enter "MoonE" instead, you get an
elongation in degrees. (This elongation is negative after full moon.)
The 'moon age' is normalized so that a lunar month is always 30
days. So a 'moon age' of 7.5 days means first quarter, 15 days means
full, 22.5 means last quarter, and 29.999 means new moon is imminent.
Similarly undocumented: enter 'sec(z)', and you get the secant of
the zenith angle at the chart center. Some photometrists like having
that piece of data.
Enter 'Delta-T', and Guide will give you the current value for Delta-T.
