[guide-user] Re: unable to display LONEOS data

Hi Michael,

I have downloaded the new compressed dataset and the .tdf-file of the Loneos
data.
You are right, after unzipping the data file is named "l.out".
I hope you have still the unzipped compressed file, unzip it again and
change the first line at loneos.tdf to "file l.out" OR don't change the tdf
file and rename the file "l.out" to "loneos.phot". Both possibilities worked
fine with my setup and all the data was displayed at GUIDE.
If you have saved it as a text file, the file has now a .txt extension. You
have to change the first line at tdf-file to "file (name of file).txt".
Renaming it back to "l.out" or "loneos.phot" will not change the type of
file, the file is still a text file with txt extension. In this case you
have to write at first line: file loneos.phot.txt OR file l.out.txt).
In my opinion changing the name of the data file is the best option because
you can see at the GUIDE directory which dataset belongs to which tdf file
at
once.
Clear skies down under,
Oliver
