Hi John,

Thanks for sending me the "problem" startup.mar file. This looks
very odd indeed... essentially, Guide wrote out a 'startup' file in
which almost everything was reset to zero (starting RA/dec is zero,
time is 0 JD, etc.) Dunno why that's happening, but it does give me a
starting point.

If anyone else runs into similar problems, please send me the
'startup.mar' file. I'd like to do a comparison; it might give me a
"Eureka!" moment that will enable me to fix the problem.
