Hi,

Some other problems I've found with the 18 March
2000version of Guide7 (my problems with the 'Show
Eclipse' feature are less with the 18 March version but
have not completely disappeared yet) :

- cities on the map : when pressing '-' less important
cities should disappear, and only the more important
ones should stay on the map.
Do this with e.g. Italy, and it becomes clear that Rome
and Milan are just some unimportant hamlets, as is
London in the UK. I suppose Naples and Glasgow are
the capitals of those two countries, just as Porto is the
capital of Portugal, Liege the capital of Belgium and
Patrai the capital of Greece.

- in the Fidji-islands (178E, 16S) there are problems
with the drawing of the map (wrong connection of points).

- when on the map the cursor is moved over the zone of
totality of an eclipse and the legend is shown, the
duration of the eclipse in that place is displayed next to
the time of maximum. When the cursor is moved off the
line, the value of the duration is only removed partially.

- when right-clicking on an eclipse map, information is
given on the local parameters. However, the pop-up
window contains a button 'More Info' which does nothing
when clicked on (the screen flickers - is something
supposed to be displayed ?).
Also, the 'Next' and 'Previous' menu are grayed out after
this.

- for displaying only planetaries, marking only
'Planetaries' in the Data Shown menu does not work.
NGC+IC should also be marked (but then the other
NGC/IC objects are also shown). Displaying only
planetaries seems to be impossible.

- with Planetaries ON in Data Shown, the PK's are only
displayed at level 6 and higher.

- Something for the nebula databank :
(Display Messier ON, NGC/IC ON, planetaries ON)
* M1, NGC 1985, NGC2018 : at level 5 / 10degrees they
are marked with the symbol for a planetary nebula, but at
level 6 / 5 degrees they suddenly become diffuse
nebulae and are displayed accordingly (rectangle
symbol).
- NGC1514 is shown twice : once as a planetary and
once (to the south of the planetary symbol) as a diffuse
nebula.
- what is NGC 5408 ? At level 5 it's a planetary, at level 6
it becomes a galaxy !

Hope I'm not the only one to encounter these things...
