BILL,
THIS IS GREAT!
One other thing, how can I tell how far away the quasar is? For example, for Q 1229 + 149 I right click, and on the "More Info" tab I find that it has a red shift of 2.320. Is there a formula somewhere that will help me change from red shift to light years or parsecs?
Thanks,
Pat

Hi Pat,
Denis has described how to get the quasars to show up on-screen...
now, as to how to find them: you can use Go To, Go To TDF Object,
then click on Quasars. Then you can type in the name of the quasar in
question.
