Re: Herschel II list for Guide?

Thanks, Bill.

Regarding the Herschel 400 (the first list), the dataset that is part
of Guide 8.0 is much different from the one posted by the
Astronomical League at

http://www.astroleague.org/al/obsclubs/herschel/hers400.html

I've found that there are 34 incorrect objects, i.e. 34 NGC numbers
listed in the dataset that are not in the A.L. list, and 34 entries
in the A.L. list that do not appear in the dataset.

I've also created by own version of the Herschel 400 dataset, similar
to my Herschel II dataset. Let me know if you would like for me to
send you that one too.

Doug
