Thanks for catching this. Here's the difference:
The first command is described in the Meade documentation as:
"High-Precision Toggle... when high-precision pointing is enabled,
scope will first allow the user to center a nearby bright star before
moving to the actual target."
And the second is described as:
"Precision toggle: Toggle between low/hi precision positions"
In low precision mode, coordinates are exchanged to .1 minute in RA
and one arcminute in dec. In high-precision mode, that's changed to
one second in RA and one arcsecond in dec. (Your older scope may just
ignore this command.)
Anyway. I'll change the commands to be
Toggle High-Precision Pointing
Toggle High-Precision Coordinates
