Re: [guide-user] "Guide6 MFC" crashing solution?

Hi Bill,

I only used the stripped down "minimal install, no added datasets" while
trying to find the reason for what I thought were spurious images. (Thanks
for the info on that.) Afterwards, I switched back to using the full Jun 21
2005 beta with several datasets on. Even so, Goto...Object name/FakeName
_still_ crashes if CD1 is not in the drive. (The crashes are of "Guide6 MFC
Application" in ntdll.dll.)

I learned something from all this testing! I had thought Goto...Object name
only worked for common names, but it works with Bayer/Flamsteed
letters/numbers if you use the three letter designations for
constellations. If the full Bayer/Flamsteed catalog designation is entered,
it appears Goto only finds the star if the first three letters match the
name. i.e., alpha Cygnus (or Cyg) works, alpha Andromeda (or And) works,
alpha umi works, but alpha Ursa Minor does not. I don't consider the latter
point a problem, just noting it in case someone has difficulties.
