Thanks Bill, but something more seems to going on here. When I enter
Delafield, WI in the location dialog screen it shows a latitude and
longitude to more digits of accuracy than what appears for Delafield in
the files you mentioned. Doing some more digging it looks to me like
the position it is selecting for Delafield is really being taken from
the zip code file (ZIPS.TXT I think is the name). That zip code file
shows locations to more accuracy in my version of Guide8. I tried to
change the location of Delafield in the zip code file to make it my
actual location, but Guide didn't like that and now says Delafield
isn't found when I enter that name in the location screen. I also
tried adding a new location to the zip code file, but Guide didn't like
that either.
Ideally, what I would like is to be able to enter something like "JBS
Home" in the location dialog and have it access my position to a high
degree of accuracy. Is there a way to do that? If not, can I somehow
change the location of Delafield in the zip code file and still get
Guide to work? Thanks.
