Thkx Bill, I remember something about this subject a long time ago and
aparently made the change at that time.
Currently Line-49 of my Startu.MAR reads "49 lx delay 15 400 9600 1 2400"
I guess I'll have to up the delay even further than the 15sec I've now set.
I assume the Delay time is for a 'completion' msg from LX-200 protocols back
to Guide8 the command issued completed. This Delay time then would depend
upon the length of time required to complete the command. Although I was
only moving the mount less than 2-3 degrees I'll start increasing the delay
time to 30sec. for starters.
Is Guide8 supposed to indicate the mount is actually moving, other being
next to the mount and hearing it move?
Thkx for your help, and the valuable URL to the Startup.MAR parameter page.
See, what did I tell you, "Continous Excellent Customer Support" 'Prompt'
too. Others would do well emulating your Service...joe :)
