Jim,
Check the properties of your shortcut and be sure you Guide 8 directory
path is in the "Start In" part of the properties dialog box.
Good luck,
Steve

Subject: [guide-user] XP Problem?
Hi Bill,
I (finally!) upgraded to a new computer and installed Guide 8 on it and
have
found the following problem:
I did the full install using Windows XP with Service Pack 2. If I open
the
Guide folder on the C: drive and click on the shortcut icon, everything
starts fine. If I drag the icon to create a shortcut on my desktop, it
tells me that application could not start because lunar.dll could not be
found. I have tried copying this file to my windows system and system
32
folders, but now a new Microsoft error pops up. I did notice that when
I do
get Guide to run using the shortcut in my Guide directory, a ghosted
'cache'
folder disappears from the folder after a few seconds. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jim
