There are no such problem with the 23 Feb G8 version and original (Guide 8)
asteroid data.
Just the same as Ian Manek prediction (chart from april 2004!)

Try to click on asteroid, then on the star. Then goto Extras -->Find
Conjunction and Show eclipse.
It works independently from your location and local time setting.
