I was trying to see the effect of precession of the pole over a long
period. I read somewhere that Alderamin would be the pole star in 5000
years, so I advanced the time to 7005 and checked the position of
Polaris. The R.A. & Dec are exactly the same as they are today.
I would expect the position would have changed dramatically.

What am I doing wrong?
