Hello All,

After a long delay, we are back to attempting to use the MicroGuider Mark 5
with Guide 8. During setup, we do see the "Scope resolution successfully set"
message as described on page 38 of the Guide manual. We also see a Scope Pad
option on the menu bar, but it does not show a small dialog box asking about
"equatorial reading hour angle", alt/az, etc".

We reboot the computer, but that does not help.

I can't remember the details, but many months ago, we tried to use Guide with
this Micro-Guider, and we may have seen the small dialog box then, and we may
have set a mark with our answer to the question. To avoid any use of a
previous setting, we are using a default mark now, but we still don't see the
small dialog box.

The MicroGuider is working successfully with Earth Centered Universe (ECU),
but I prefer Guide.

Any ideas?

One other question: ECU permits using only one star for a complete alignment.
The scope is permanently mounted on a German equatorial mount. Guide seems to
provide for two-star alignment only. Is there an option in Guide that would
permit using a single star for alignment?
