no more solar eclipses

dr george pothoff Mar 24, 2005

i use guide dd 25 feb 2005

using: "tables" : "solar eclipses" i find ALL solar eclipses redded out.
hence i should not be able to observe them; this does not reflect
real life

lets take 2005 10 03 10H 32 in "guide help" ( UT? CET ?) an
eclipse visible here in the south of France

Guide gives me UT 10:03 ( in red) clicking on this I get no eclipse,
as guide changes automatically to 11:32 CET, which should be correct
Changing the time to 10: 32 ( CET, my computer time ) i can see the
eclipse

"guide help" gives apparently data for my local timezone and not U.T.
, but reddens all out, so i cannot determine whether an eclipse is
visible or not

an stone age program ( lodestar) calculates 10:02 CET for this
eclipse on my location and gives also the visibility

it seems to me that there is a problem somewhere, but possibly with my
setup, but i cannot figure where
