Hi Rudy,

some of these USB <-> RS232 adapters tend to "optimize away" the few
bytes of a datagram between scope and computer. You could look up the
adapters settings for the 16550 FIFO buffer and deactivate it. I've
read some newsgroup postings where this measure was helpful.

I had to set the adapter (and any software like Guide) to 2400 baud
to work correctly via my USB/232 adapter - check it out.
