I mail to both groups now, because it seems that I have nailed down the
problem that some FITS-images imported into Guide are rotated by 180
degrees:

The example image I sent to you Bill and that was rotated by 180
degrees had an orientation of 105 deg, see part of Astrometrica.log:

Now I tried some of my own images, with orientations of nearly 0 deg
and 180 deg (I have a GEM with permanently mounted CCD-camera, so both
orientations are quite common). And what do you think: the images with
0 deg are ok in Guide, the ones with an orientation of 180 deg are
rotated by 180 deg in Guide.

Now who of you is willing to solve this miracle?
