Questions about double stars and animation

Greetings, friends and fellow observers,
I was simulating the occultation of Antares by the Moon on the morning
of Mar 3, about 10:56 UT and encountered a problem I'd like help with.
With animation turned on and a FOV of several degrees and the monitor
locked on Antares, as the leading edge of the Moon approaces Antares,
the trailing edge does not disappear. The Moon turns into a "pipe". Is
this a known problem? Could it have anything to do with the refresh
time of the monitor?
Also, using the AL bright doubles catalog, I was comparing Castor with
Antares to see how the doubles compare. I am confused by the additional
info screen for the AL double star list. It gives component A as mag.
6175, B as 1.9, C as 4.9, and D as 8.9. What does the 6175 mean?
In the case of Antares, it lists A as 10074. Is this supposed to mean
1.0074? If so, why are the companions not in the same format? In the
case of Castor, why would the dimmer star be listed as A and component B
be listed as 1.9?
