Sorry for the late reply on this subject! I had written up text
describing how WCS images could be imported to Guide, but hadn't
actually posted it. Not very useful, I'm afraid...

Take another look at

and you'll see "Display of images with WCS data" among the newly
added features.

One minor detail that may, at least in theory, prove to be important:
I'm not sure the current version will handle 32-bit integer FITS images
correctly. I didn't have any to use as a test. 8-bit, 16-bit, and
floating-point images are all tested and found to work.
