is it possible that you have set a rotation angle at menu "Display...
Inversion menu... Rotation (German: Karte... Orientierung... Drehwinkel)?

If I'm setting the rotation to 90 deg, I have at geo map level 1 North up
and from level 2 on North to the right.

I wish you clear skies for the Antares occultation!

Hello :-)

I am running Guide 8, Oct 2 2004 version.

Looking for an occultation for e.g. Moon and Antares on Feb 4th, 2005
I get a "real" world map with zoom level 1 and north is up.

After zooming to level 2 or deeper north is not up any more. Instead
in this occasion it is suddenly on the right side (east). It is quite
confusing for me ;-)

Any ideas ?
