I just bought an external 60 GB hard disk (USB 2.0) and just copied my
Guide 8 directory to my USB disk. Result: It is great. Everything
seems to work fine from this disk copy. Now I can go to every Notebook
and work on with my own config and all data :-)

Please try to never change this with newer versions - it is just
great.

Another wish, which I mentioned earlier. The longer Guide 8 exists the
more files are necessary to dowload
(http://www.projectpluto.com/extras.htm etc.) to get the latest
version with all plugins etc. Is it possible to put alle these files
in one big zip-file ? Then just download this one file and unzip it to
your Guide directory. Would be a great help sometimes and most
astronomers should have enough bandwith by now to do this...
