Hi folks,

I posted a minor update to Guide yesterday. The changes are almost
entirely small bug fixes. The most visible change is that the dialog
for planet display now has a "feature density" control... you don't have
to use the Alt-. and Alt-; keys anymore.

Regarding display of tables of solar 'physical' data: as Bernd suggests,
this would probably show up as extra check-boxes in the Ephemeris Items
dialog, such as

[ ] Central lat/lon
[ ] PA of north pole
[ ] Subsolar lat/lon

Bernd also suggested to "please allow calculation of ephemeries also for
non moving objects (stars, NGC, IC,...). Ok, most of the entries are senseless,
but I need to know the azimut and elevation of an object in 15 min intervals
over one night for planning an observing session." For this, a more
'special-purpose' list of data, that would include twilight and lunar
data, might be better (so you would know not only the alt/az of the object,
but what effect the sun and/or moon might have on observing it).

None of this, BTW, is apt to happen until after 8.0 is released. I
have yet to release an update on time. (My former employer, and most
software companies, might insist on shipping products "on schedule".
I am regularly thankful for the fact that, as a one-person company, I
can release software when it's _ready_ instead... but this _does_ tend
to take longer!)

James, you asked about NexStar support: the answer is that Guide 7.0
ought to do that right now, when set up in "Ultima" mode. The NexStar
and Ultima 2000, supposedly, use the same control language.

However, I don't know if anyone has actually tried this... comments,
anyone? If it does _not_ work, I can say with absolute certainty that
it will have to be added.
