To all,

In trying to solve this double-labeling problem, I was deleting the entire
Guide directory before re-installing. (Guide does not install anything
outside its own directory.) I did this three or four times, without
success. Each time, the identical problem occurred.

Last night, I deleted _every_ reference to Guide in Windows Explorer from
both hard drives. That worked. I have no idea what caused the problem, but
it was obviously not a Guide bug. Could keeping a backup copy of Guide on
my D drive have anything to do with this?

I did find a minor bug in Guide. Goto|Star|Common Name... drops a menu
which doesn't work unless the CD is in the drive. Goto|Object name... and
typing in the star's name does work without the CD.
