After reading your post, I checked and found I was still using September
23. I had d/l the final October 2 update, but forgot to extract it to the
G8 directory. (Duh!) But it made no difference with the label doubling.
The problem is quite dependent on location and zoom level. I've uploaded
some test jpgs showing the situation around Sirius. Following the same
steps with four or five other stars, gave the same results. I couldn't find
a pattern, maybe someone else can. (Bill...?)
