you really should use a real text editor for this, not Word. Use Textpad or
UltraEdit (both shareware but worth it, and you get a decent trial period), or
even Notepad even though it is _very_ bare bones. And Notepad has this annoying
thing about sometimes saving stuff as .txt, even if you don't want it to.
