Yes, that works fine, but Harald wants exact distances and position angles,
and this method is less precise. Right-clicking on the objects themselves
uses their calculated positions.

There are other methods. My main interest is in historical eclipses, so I
have icons in the toolbar for "Find Sun" and "Find Luna" (Also "Find
Conjunction"). To get the center-to-center separation of the apparent
discs, I left-click on one icon, left-click on the other, then press the
"Insert" key. Alternatively, you can use the dropdown "Goto" menu to do the
same thing.
