Hi Dario,
Hmmmm... I suppose something of this ilk _could_ happen, if
someone tracks down the data and enters it. This is essentially
what Eduardo Vila-Echagule did for the Almagest:
http://www.projectpluto.com/almagest.htm
I know little of historical Chinese astronomy. Paul's remark that
the Chinese didn't give coordinates, but rather gave descriptions,
seems quite likely to me. I could imagine creating a user-added
dataset for Guide which would cause stars to show up with some sort
of special symbol (positions derived from some more modern catalogue).
You could then click on the symbol, ask for "more info", and see
what the Chinese had to say about that star or constellation. To
do that, though, you'd have to find or enter the text in question.
(More likely the latter.)
But once you have the data, getting Guide to show it is simple
enough. It should be straightforward to treat it as just another
user-added dataset.
