It is possible that the gent was removed by either his spam filter or his
Internet Service Provider.
Unfortunately some ISPs block some newsgroup emails. My wife runs a Yahoo
Astronomy Newsgroup in Western Australia
and has found several people were not getting the emails. One was because of
a firewall or similar at work that blocks newsgroup emails
and another was/is because the ISP blocks the mail for whatever reason.
You may find a clue in the members bouncing section at the yahoo website.
