Let me second Alan's thanks. Similar tricks can be applied
elsewhere... for example, those in the eastern United States
can select the "Indiana (east)" zone, which ignores daylight
"saving" time and stays five hours from UT; those in the
Mountain zone (-7 hours from UT) can select the "Arizona"
zone. It doesn't work for everyone, though; for example,
those on the west coast of the US (zone -8) have only a single
time zone choice, and it does have DST.
