Open clusters catalogs and data

bertrand Laville May 1, 2004

Hi Bill, Hi All,

With the two extra features, "Dias and alter catalog" and "Preliminary amateur open clusters catalog", Guide has significantly improved its database of open clusters.
Nevertheless, updated issues of these two catalogs have been released, each one with increased and much more accurate data.
The PAOC includes in its last 2004 04 28 version about 1400 open clusters and a dozen of others deep sky objects, with, for most of them, a classification between suspected, optical, real clusters, and several other data as diameter, cross references with discovers, and so and.
On the other hand, the Dias is presently in its february 2004 9th version, with a lot of new data, mainly in 7th and 9th version. Several dozen of clusters of the PAOC have been "officialized".
Is it possible, Bill, to update Guide's both catalogs ?
Many thanks.
Regards
Bertrand
