Hi Bernd,

This is a new one on me... my knowledge of dual-monitor systems is
just about zilch. But when you minimize Guide (or any app) to the
taskbar and then _restore_ it, it ought to go back where it was.
Just to be clear: you're simply clicking with the left mouse button
on the icon in the taskbar, and it maximizes to both screens
instead of just being restored to where it was when you minimized it?

I'd not be surprised if clicking on right-clicking on the icon in
the taskbar and then on "maximize" led to the behavior you mention.
That's _supposed_ to happen. But when you restore a program, it
should "remember" where it was.

There are no settings in Guide that would affect this. When you
shut Guide down, it does write out data as to where it was on-screen
to a file called 'maximum.dat'; when you start it up again, it reads
that data so that it appears where you left off. But it doesn't sound
as if that's an issue here; for some weird reason, Guide is maximizing
when it ought to be restoring.

Only thing I can suggest trying is deleting 'maximum.dat'. Guide
will rebuild it (though certain settings, such as the fonts you're
using and where dialog boxes were placed, will get lost.) Perhaps
somehow, something got corrupted in there that's causing this effect.

The other possibility would be a weirdness in the video driver,
something not seen by those of us with single-monitor boxes. But if
you're seeing this _only_ with Guide, it's hard to imagine what
that weirdness might be.
