Looking at the field of Mac Neil Nebula, I've just noticed that the GSC non stars are desappearing when you choose to turn the screen from normal mode in red mode.
In my example, GSC 116 167, m9.7B, vanishes in red mode.
Opposite from this non star (Mac Neil Nebula taken as center), GSC 4768 173, m12.5B, turns out also.
Trying to verify this scheme for other places and other modes, I've noticed
1) this happens for any other non star I've tried,
2) This doesn't happen in any other mode (Chart mode, flaslight, or realistic)
Two precisions: I run the 10th december 2003 version, with W98.

Has anyone observed such a thing?
