Re: [guide-user] ascom for GUIDE?

I would like to see GUIDE support ASCOM. I presently use The Sky
to control my SkyWalker. I'm running CCDSoft for camera control in
one computer and SkyGuide (mount control) and The Sky in another
computer. So I'm doing camera control in one computer and mount control
in the other computer and the two never talk to each other. Not ideal
but it works. I think I would like to use GUIDE instead of The Sky
but it is a real hassle because GUIDE isn't ASCOM compatible.

I'm not sure I understand your comment about accessing the com port by
GUIDE. I must be missing something here.
