Re: Scope control

Hi Bill, thanks for your reply. After more investigation I have
determined the apparent Guide8 position error isn't in Guide after
all, but rather as you point out in my WinCTC scope controller. The
WinCTC author told me WinCTC currently rounds off RA to 1 minute and
Dec to 0.1 minute. The reason the error was apparent in Guide and not
ECU is that the ECU maximum resolution screen is 1/2 degree. The
higher resolution of Guide (level 12+) makes the scope cursor
position error more apparent. The author of Guide (COAA) said he
could increase the accuracy with new firmware and programming,
something I will encourage. Thanks again.

Regards,
Richard
