I do use these to adjust precise positioning when I am at an object.
What I would like is to select 'slew' or 'find' and then have the 'goto'
drive the scope at the selected speed. The telescope control always
seems to drive at max speed (and therefore very noisily) despite my
setting slew speed 2 (6 default) on the keypad. Controlling from Guide
seems to be equivalent to controlling from the keypad.
