I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong in getting Guide8 to recognize
and display UCAC2 data. I recently received the three CD's,
whereupon I downloaded and unzipped the ucac2_a.zip file into the
Guide directory. There is now a folder (UCAC2) with the .idf
and .tdf files in the Guide directory along with the same .idf
and .tdf files in the root directory (of Guide, v8, 18 Sept.2003).
But with one of the data CD's loaded in the drive, and then opening
Guide, and Extras... Toggle User Datasets, there is no UCAC2 dataset
entry listed.
