Hi,
> you know that '1937 UB' was the proper search criteria for Hermes? I'm glad
for my own part I learned about this asteroid on the AmAstro mailing list, where
rediscoverer Brian Skiff is among the most frequent posters. Somebody
congratulated him on the find there (despite the list being predominantly deep
sky), and he followed up with an extensive and very interesting story about the
rediscovery.
As for seeing Hermes, though, I think you're a little late for visual work. The
Moon grows fat and the asteroid sets earlier each day. And it is faint, as Guide
will tell you.
Best regards,
Arild :)
