I need some help in communicating with the LX200GPS from Guide. The
problem is that the telescope is inside a metal dome and can't find the GPS
satellites. We can set the date and time from the Autostar keypad but when
the telescope starts up it sends information to Guide that indicates that
it is pointed at the East point on the Horizon(HA=-6 dec=0 deg) Any
attempt to move the telescope to a negative declination or West of the
meridian even though that object is above our horizon will cause the
telescope to tell guide that the object is below the horizon.

If you have a LX200GPS in a metal dome and have solved the communication
problem I would appreciate some suggestions. Off the list would be best
for now.
