Once again, guide would have to 'deviate' from
non-existent standards (!) and invent a camera control
protocol. Most are obvious, such as exposure.

Another approach would be to dump Guide instructions to a file
offline from the user inputs after which he/she would edit
the file and add his/her cameras commands along with time
code. Later, the scope driver would use the file for a
nights worth of automation.

Presumably the majority of us have or would have homebrewed
scope controllers. If the LX200 interface could support this
feature, it would be great, but it does not, yes?

I would just like to avoid typing in the DEC and RA of
objects not to mention the lengthy look up of these.
