Hey everybody

We saw the nova from here in Northern England last night. (I've never seen
one before - thanks, Bill.) I showed it to my kids using 10 x 40
binoculars on a camera tripod: didn't need the scope. It was distinctly
orange, and brighter than 22 Aqu (about mag 5). My daughter, who has eyes
like a hawk, could see it with the naked eye even in our light-polluted
sky.

Tonight it's cloudy!
