Hi folks,

As you may have seen, I've moved the update from the "testing"
stage to the "for-real" stage: go to the main Project Pluto page,

and it announces updated software and links to the full description
of all the assorted things added over the last few months. No real
change here from the most recent "test" version (i.e., the one with
resettable panning amounts.) But things appear to have stabilized
a bit; I figured it was a good time for an official update.

Bertrand, having that toolbar button on by default wasn't really
my intention; I'm still doing a bit of work on that function (you'll
see that it's not an announced part of the update). Its main drawback
is that the error handling if you turn it on with no scope attached isn't
very good. (And if your scope is slow to respond, as my AutoStar
is, the function can result in the PC spending almost all of its time
waiting for the scope to update.)

That said, I _am_ glad to hear that some folks are getting it to work.

Regarding modifying the "panning percentage": this has actually been
possible for a while now:

Speaking of changing mark files... somebody asked a while back
about having Guide support azimuth conventions running from -180
to +180 degrees, instead of 0 to 360. That's now possible:
