Re: Button 3 at toolbar of beta update

Hi Oliver,
Oops... sorry about that; that button ought to be off by default.
Truth is, when I posted that "test update", I figured five people
using UCAC-2 would test it out, and I didn't look closely enough
at other areas of the update.
I've been working on assorted revisions to telescope control.
When connected to a scope (LX-200 compatible, Celestron,
encoders, anything else), this new function will read the scope
position and put a marker on the screen indicating that position.
It'll recenter the map if the marker would be off-screen.
This is something encoder-based folk have had for years, and
which everybody else ought to have had quite a while back had
I not made a couple of very bad design decisions when scope
control was first implemented in Guide. The function needs a
little work in some places. On a slower scope (for example,
my AutoStar), it can end up reading the scope continuously,
making it tough (though not impossible) to do anything else.
