Off topic question warning!

I receive the mailing list in digest form and every once in a
while it opens with a godawful cyan looking background
color instead of white. I have seen this on a couple of
other lists I subscribe to in digest form. Is anyone familiar
with this and does anyone have an explanation?

Perhaps a suggestion for how to override whatever
causes it?
