That is correct. However, I do have a servo version in Java that is nearing
completion after 1 year of effort. It runs in a variety of operating
systems. I use it with Win32 Guide via the scope pad 'slew scope' and 'slew
guide'. The 'slew scope' is listened for as an event at a rate of one
second, though the 'slew guide' has to be done manually. I hope to add a
stepper version in Java using a microcontroller for the actual microstepping
within the year. Users will no doubt continue to use scope.exe and guide in
their DOS versions for a long time. The combination of the programs in the
dark sky environment at night works well for me.
