Still having all sorts of problems with guides display and colour
settings.

I chose Background, then for each of the options chose the colour
then chose custom colour and in each case the background colour was
changed to a line and this completely screws up the Guide View and
nothing I do can change it back to the way it was.

This is the second re-install of guide (to get over the fat dotted
grid problem of the first install) Grids were OK but the CCD frame
was fat dotted blob this time.

Now is the third time I have to delete and reinstall guide to fix
the display problem. Is there something that I am missing?

(I am running Windows XP home, on a Duron 1.3ghz with 256mb RAM -
Compaq Presario 720AU Laptiop)
