Are you running Win-95 or Win-NT? If so, you can use the built-in "Scheduled
tasks" facility, to run any program of your choice at any time of your choice.
The program can be run once at any time of your choice, repeatedly at any
interval of your choice, daily, at system startup, at logon -- i.e. you
can set your schedule quite as much as you like.
Of course you can set multiple schedules as well -- as many as you like.
So all you need then is some simple program which beeps the speaker or
something -- you can probably find such a program in the freeware
archives simtel et al, or quickly write one yourself. Or use this tiny
8-byte program beep.com, which simply sends a BEL to standard output:
============================================================
begin 666 beep.com
(M`*R!\TAS2`[
`
end
============================================================
Then you set up that "beep" program as the one to run at your schedule.
You'll find "Scheduled tasks" under the "My Computer" icon.
Good luck!
