In Guide you may exploit the fact that Tycho star numbers are essentially the
same as their GSC equivalents. Thus, your "TYC 5545-00863-1" is the same as "GSC
5545 863", which is a valid object in Guide. Admittedly, the names are not
exactly equal, but with practice (and a bit of luck?), you may figure it out :)

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Guide having a Go to | Star | Tycho... menu
entry added :) But, Guide never seems to want to display the Tycho designation
in the More info... box, so this may not solve much?
