Bill & Guide-User Grp;

Well, I just reinstalled GUIDE 7.0. Tried to get A1.0 data from the CD
without any changes at all to GUIDE. It didn't work, same thing. It kept
asking for CD #8 even after inserting my SA1.0 CD. Canceled out of the
operation but still nothing. I found the A10.dat file is Zero K in size.
Checked and reset the Mags to 16 and tried again, still nothing.

There was no GUIDE.DAT file after the reinstall, created one using only the A1
path to E:\. Tried again, didn't work.

I downloaded the most recent update available and tried again. Got the A1.0 /
A2.0 choice menu but that didn't work either. The GUIDE.DAT file was
unchanged. Renamed the GUIDE.DAT and tried again. Still nothing, nada, zip,
nill.

Waaaa! I'm Bumfoozeled! :P

Bill, would there be anything installed 'outside' of the GUIDE7 directory that
might be hanging things up because it wasn't uninstalled? ...joe
